經歷了差不多一年的抗疫日子，對於從事表演藝術界的朋友來說，經歷了前所未有的衝擊和挑戰。在新的一年開始之初，冀憑三年前所寫的一篇我對藝術的看法之文章 (My Vision of Art) ，及三年前用了Querencia Flamenco Ibiza 所演奏的flamenco 版Historia de un Amor 所編之舞，祝福疫情能早日過去，表演藝術再能百花齊放！

Art is a way of life

Art is a way of life. It can be found whenever and wherever we are. It all depends on our attitude which prefers to let our days be filled with pieces of memories made by the beauty and power of art.

Every morning, we greet to others with energetic voices and big smiles. It is an art of communication.

Every afternoon, we make a cup of dripping coffee which is hissing in the bottle. It is an art of enjoyment.

Every evening, we walk through a park with tired and heavy steps and listening to tweeting birds being fed by their parents on the trees. It is an art of sensation.

Every night, we set the alarm clock before going to bed. The sound of the moving chain reminds us to well prepare for tomorrow. It is an art of epiphany.

Art is a power

Life is not easy as it includes lots of ups and downs, laughter and tear, success and failure. Art does play its role in comforting a soul, releasing the stress and motivating our mind. No matter the art forms are visual or invisible, touchable or far apart, durable or fragile, it may generate a kind of unexpected power that heal one’s broken heart, build up one’s self-confidence or light up one’s life in the dark.

Art is a gift

Art can bring happiness, hope and harmony if it is expressed and utilized in a positive and constructive manner. People can develop their creativity if they are inspired to explore their talents in art. It is beneficial to the society in which people can be connected and interacted by the fond of art. Sharing of precious ideas and unforgettable experience in art is a kind and graceful act. If one treats art as a gift from the heaven above, seeds of appreciation and respect would also be brought from above down to one’s heart-field. No hatred and no jealousy could have space among the human relationships

Art is a long road

I see myself as a pebble at a corner or a small piece of puzzles that has its part in forming a beautiful masterpiece of artwork. I have no hesitation and no regret to contribute my passion, energy and time in sustaining art in our beloved art – FLAMENCO.

As long as we live, art never comes to an end. Let’s enjoy our life with love in art! Ole！
